Lesson 10

1 Accident 

In Boston , I had stomachache. I find restrooms  I think God removed all restrooms in my world. Moreover he removed all sound and colors . Keep running, run and run. Stop!! The color returned bright. I can heared bird and city noises.  

Description 

When I was a high school student, I went to Boston. It was language training tour. In the tour, I had stomachache. But I could speak English a little. So, I couldn’t ask “where is restrooms?” It was simple phrase . So I divided to study English hard. I will visite the city. 

2 my student 

I am a private teacher. Someday my student said I don’t like English. The day, the way which I went to my home was dark and black. But, I never give up. I tried a lot of ways to study English for 3 months. I hope He likes English. Someday, he said “thsese days I like English a little. The way I go back to my home was orange and bright. 

Description 

I teach a high school student. I started this work last winter. When I met him first. His score was so bad especially English. I teach him how to study and why you should study. He is smart. He understood my opinion. He studied hard. Thanks for our efforts, his score become good gradually. One day he said to me “I like English a little .” I was so happy. 

3 english 

In Orlando, I had a chance that I could talk to American university student. An American sat down the seat in front of me. I said in my heart ” courage “. “Hello ” I said “Hello ” He said. I am really taking English. 

Description 

  When I was a high school student, I went to Orlando in Florida. Florida was so hot and I can have so hot experiences. At there, we can have a chance to communicate with American university student. The place was restaurant. In front of me, an American come. I was so nervous. He started talking to me. In my mind, I come back to my hotel. I can’t speak. I was about to crying. But, I think it si chance to use English. I say hello. It was precious memory. 

4 Foreign movie 

It’s back to the future. When I was 9 years old. I saw foreign movies for the first time in my life. But then, I could understand what acter said. But I have studied English for about 6 years. The situation changes a little. “…… May I ask you some questions ? ” I can hear. The word looks like treasure.  

Description 

When I was 9 years old. I watched “back to the future “at my house. The movie was so fun. This movie is my most favorite movie, I think. For the first time, I couldn’t hear what acter said. But six years later, I become high school student. I watched the movie again. I could understood what acter said. The phrase was “May I ask you some questions ?”. The experience made me fun. I find a joy to study English. I love English movie. 

5 about purpose 

One day, I said “papoze ”  My classmates laughed out loud. Some times my English is crazy. My English word book become “smile book” But I was regrettable. So, I study my pronunciation hard. Two days later, teacher ask same question. It was revenge. My pronounciation was perfect. Summer wind passed my class. 

Description 

When I was a high school student, I sometimes mistook English pronounciation. It was fun for my classmates , I think. I was laughed by my classmates. I was so regrettable. So I tried to study English pronounciation carefully and hard. From then, my ability of English pronounciation was improved dramatically. Now, it was good experience, I think. 

6 key and wing 

Why I study English? I have an answer. English is key. The key changes my life more interesting. English is wing. The wing takes me to more fantastic world. But now, I don’t have useful key and strong wing. 

Description 

During my high school life, I sometimes think that why we should study English. One day, I ask my friend the question. He said that English is my key. I think it is so fantastic. Since I have heard his idea, his idea is my motivation for my English study. His idea changed my feelings. Now, I like English so much. I am grateful to him. 

7 excuse me 

” Excuse me”  This is my first word which I said in America. So ” Excuse me ” is special for me. ” excuse me ” is my proud. 

Description 

When I was a high school student. I went to America. I ride airplane which goes to Chicago. In the airplane, there are a lot of American. Without saying, CA is American. It was already America. I was surprised , I couldn’t bring out the words at all. But, I have to go restroom . In front of the door of restroom, an American standing, I would like to get out of the door. I couldn’t have the way to tell him my opinion. I said ” Excuse me?” . My English get through to him. I was so happy. The experience tought me that using English is fun. 

8 my motivation 

Studying English, I want to stop study. Then I imagine the memories of America. In Florida, if I was a good English speaker, I could talk to American more. In Boston, I saw a student who studied harder than me. At there, I had some annoying experiences and I met many attractive people. These memories makes me take pencill. Someday, I will see Florida ‘a blue sky. 

Description 

When I was high school student, I went to America for two weeks. At there, I have a lot of fantastic experiences. For example, I first talk to American in only English. From these experiences, I strongly think I was have to study English in order to live abroad. So, I become to stop studying English, I imagine American experiences. I would like to go to America again. By the time, I have to study hard. 

9 my dream

In the future, I want to become a teacher in foreign countries. But, I don’t know how I should study English to realize my dream . What should I do? Please tell me how. Someone…

Description 

When I was high school student, I had a dream. It was to become a teacher who works in foreign countries. I would like to teach Japanese culture all over the world. But to realize my dream, English is necessary. I need to study English everyday, but self study is difficult. There is noone wno tell me how to study. I sometimes become sad. I don’t know my way is good or bad. Even so, I will do my best. 

10 English teacher 

I liked my English teacher. I met him, when I was high school student. He was so clever. Now, I didn’t forget His class. If I could, I would like to take his lesson again. His lesson was brightly. 

Description 

When I was a high school student, I met a great English teacher. His lesson was so interesting and useful. He was trusted by every student. Nothing to say, I like him. I owe it to him that I like English. I would like to take his lesson. I sometimes think.

2 my English is crazy 

When I was a high school student, I sometimes mistake English pronouns. For example, it is “purpose ” . I say “papose “. My pronouns is sometimes laughed by my classmates. It was crazy, I think I didn’t want to become Laughing stock. So, I study English prononciation hard. As a result, my English pronounciation was dramatically changed . It was so bad and so happy event. 
3 key and wing 

When I was a high school student. I went to America with my school students. The number is about 20. It was language training. I have been to America for a half month. It was fantastic and interesting event. I will never forget the memory! At America, I always feel that English is the key to introduce my idea to other people who can not speak Japanese. If I can use English, my life become more wonderful one. In order to create my interesting life, I will keep studying English. 
6 Florida 

When I was a high school student, I went to Florida. Florida was so hot and I can have so hot experiences. At there, we can have a chanse to communicate with American university student. The place is restaurant. In front of me, an American come. I was so nurvouse. He start talking to me. In my mind, I come back to my hotel, I can’t speak . I was about to crying. But I think it is chance to use English. I want to confirm my English is useful. It needs a lot of courage. I say to him “Hello. My name is….” I can talk to American in English.  

7 private teacher 

I have been a private teacher for about 6 months. I teach a high school student boy. He is good boy. He has girl friend . But he is not smart. His test score is too bad. So he does not like to study. My work was too tough. I didn’t give up. I keep to teach him patiently. He hesitate English especially. So I had longest time to teach English. These days, his score is improving a little. I was so happy . Maybe, he is happy, too. I will not forget his word ” I like English a little, thanks.” Teacher is one of the most attractive work, I think . 
8 excuse me 

When I was high school student I went to America. I ride a Airplane which go to Chicago. In the plane, there are a lot of American. I was surprised, I can’t bring out the words at all . But, I have to go restroom. In front of the door of restroom. A man was standing, I want him to get out of the door. I could not have the way to tell him my opinion. I said “excuse me ” . My English get through to him. I was so happy.

I am private teacher. I teach a high school student. I teach him once a week. He didn’t like to study before . But, these days , he becomes to like studying. Maybe, the reason is that I told him how study is important and why study is important. He is very docile. So I always do my best for him. One day he said to me “Thank you. I become a study lover by you. ”  I was so happy. He is my motivation. I study by him. He studies by me . I like this relationship.

1 When I was a high school student. I came to Boston. At there, I had an accident. Suddenly I had stomachache. But, there are no restrooms. I couldn’t ask other people. I regretted that I should study English more. 
2 From last September , I have worked as a private teacher. My student is not good at studying English. English test score is so bat. But, these days he studied hard. His score is improving gradually. I study English for him. 
3 When I was 9 years old , I saw “back to the future ” for the first time in my life . Then I couldn’t hear English, I couldn’t understand at all. After 6 years, I watched the movie again . I could understand a little. My English study made me hear English. It was fun.

Self introduction 

I am Yuki Ogino. I’m from Ota city. I am in second year in university. My major is Japanese. I like Japanese. So I choosed this major. I attended Ota high school. My high school memories were so fun. If I can back to high school, I would like to become high school student again. I have studied English for about 9 years. I want to become a teacher who works in foreign countries. It is my dream. If I realize this dream, I need high English skill. So, English is key. I’ll study English hard. 

Explanation of my theme 

I have studied English for about 8 years. When I touched English for the first time of my life, I was 13 years old . 

Then, I always feel that English is not interesting and it’s tough. I hate to study it. But now, my mind was changed. I like English. In my life, I had some experiences which were felt me how interesting and useful English are. These memories is important for my English learning. I was changed by theme. Now I wrote 10poems about these experiences. If you read it,you may become English lover.

①When I was a high school student, I had been to Washington with my high school students. The number was about 30.The purpose of this trip is to rise our English literacy.

2, When I visited Washington.I have met Lincoln statue.He was very greate. I really think that I came to America.

3 When I was a high school student,I have been to NASA in Orlando.It was very hot,but it was my favorite place.At there,I could meet NASA scientists.They are so kind and clever.

4 In Boston,I lost my way.But an American helped me to teach how I can go to my hotel.Then I could tell him in English a little,it was very fun.

5 In Boston,I ate some Robster.They were so delicious ,but I had stomach.So I look for restroom.I couldn’t get to restroom. I kept to look for it for 30minutes.Finally I could reach it.I will not forget the word restroom,

6 In Orlando,I have been to Boewing.I could see employee of the company.They were so kind and clever.

7 While I have been in America,I can’t eat Japanese food.Day 6,I could eat Onigiri and Gyouza.They are so delicious. I seriously think Japanese food is very good.

8 These days ,I thought English to my student,I am a private teacher.When he can understand what I say,I feel happy.I hope he realizes how English is fun.

9 In America,I could make a friend.His name is Tom.After I came back to Japan,we talked sometime at Facebook. In 2016,Tom came to Japan,so I met him.Our friendship is forever. 

10 After I came back to Japan,I really think that I hope to go to America.My first attach of America is so fun,but if I was better English speaker,I could make better memories.So I will study English more hard.
